The Trading Post is used for changing one resource into another resource. If you don't have enough farms to feed all your crew, you can spend some of your money to get more food. Have huge amounts of metal sitting around not doing anything and your short of gold? Sell off some of that metal for a little profit.
There are some drawbacks to using the Trading Post, when you sell something you get no where near as much as what it would cost to buy it back. So make sure you are buying/selling exactly what you need before you click "Trade". |
