Game Rules

1. You may not repeatedly create/delete accounts for any reason.
2. All decisions made by the ND Staff are final. Your account may be removed or modified FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, and you may be blocked without warning OR EVEN CAUSE.
3. If you are caught abusing bugs in the system, your account will be deleted, and you may be blocked from the game. If you find a bug, report it to the Naval Domination staff, in order to avoid these consequences.
4. You are allowed to create and maintain only one account in Naval Domination. In addition, you are allowed to maintain only your own account; under no circumstances should accounts be shared, traded, or managed by anyone other than the original creator.
5. All peace treaties and alliances must work only via the relations system ingame. Any other alliances are illegal (users who create such alliances will be removed).
6. You may not use inappropriate language in private messages or in your captain name.
7. If you are found to provide false registration information, you will be deleted or blocked from the game.
8. You may not use automated software, scripts, custom sidebars, hacks, or any other method to access this sever other than the methods provided to you by Naval Domination.
9. Any players found to be doing anything against the spirit and/or INTENT of this game may be deleted. These rules are not to be taken word for word, but you should follow the intent of these rules and this game.
10. These rules are subject to change without notice.
11. We are not responsible for any harm or loss of data caused by this site. Accounts may be corrupted or deleted accidentally, and we cannot be held responsible for this.
12. By using this site, you agree not to copy any of the ideas, content, names, pictures, or anything else you find on the site without express written permission from a site administrator.
13. You may not use the lost password page for any account except your own, or you will be blocked from the game.
14. Country pictures must be appropriate for all ages (VIOLATERS WILL BE BANNED AND REPORTED TO THEIR ISP). The maximum width is 600 pixels, and the maximum height is 450 pixels. If you're not sure, put it up, right click on the picture and choose properties to see the dimensions, if you are using Internet Explorer. If we receive notice from a company that you are using an image that is copyrighted by them, we must protect ourselves by removing the user who posted that image from the game (as well as removing the image itself).

Forum Rules

1. Create threads in the correct board
   If you have an idea, please post it in ideas, and bugs go in the bugs forum. If you post in the wrong forum, your thread may be moved or removed.
2. Dont Make Public Accusations
   Do not accuse people of rule breaking in these forums. Instead, voice your concerns to a moderator or administrator in private, through email or chat.
3. No Discrimination
   No discriminating posts on the basis of sex, age, gender, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, religion, etc... will be permitted.
4. No Harrassment
   If a person does not want to talk to you or if a person does not want to talk about a certain subject any longer, you are not permitted to harrass this user. This user's wishes should be respected.
5. No Impersonations
   You may not use the guest feature to impersonate other users of this board.
6. No Insults
   You may not insult any others in a sexual manner, or in a discriminating manner.
7. No Porn
   Links to pornagraphical sites will not be permitted.
8. No Spamming
   Nonsense posts, repeated posts, and threads with nonsense topics are considered spam
9. No Swears
   This site is designed for people of all age groups. As such, posts with swears will be edited or removed.
10. Rights of the Moderators and Administrators
    Moderators and Administrators may delete any post that they deem is offensive, illegal, or poses a security risk. They may ban users for any violation of these rules or for anything else they deem improper. Moderators who abuse their powers will lose their position as a moderator.
11. No Disclosure of Private Information
    Do not post military sizes, land sizes, passwords, email addresses, or any other private information about a user. If you do, your account may be banned or removed.
12. No Capital Letters
    Any posts written in over 30% capital letters will be edited to remove unneccessary capital letters.
13. No Duplicate Threads
    For bugs and ideas forum: Try not to create more than one thread about the same bug or idea. If you have something to say about a bug, post in the existing thread about that bug. If you like an idea, or have an idea to improve it, post in an existing thread about that idea. If there is no existing thread, then you may create a new one.
14. No Game Rule Breaking
    You may not use the forum to assist in breaking any rules listed under game rules.
15. No Captain or Country Bashing
    For each individual players protection, and to promote fairness in the game, you may not post messages asking other people to attack any person/country, or telling other people that any specific person/country is weak.
16. No Advertising
    You may not use this site to spread advertisements for the sale or use of any goods or services. In addition, many advertisements (unless given permission) are violations of the copyrights that the service you are advertising for has obtained. As such, all advertisements will be removed.
17. English Please
    The only language allowed in our public forums is English, as this language is used by the majority of our users. Please do not post in other languages, as they will be deleted.

Server-Wide Rules

Naval Domination Chat is located on Zirc.org IRC servers. Please visit their site for rules and more information.

Rules for #NavalDomination

1. Language
   All communication within the chat room is in English. You may not use foul language such as swear words.
2. Respect
   You shall respect all users beliefs. No discrimination on any basis is permitted.
3. Spam
   You may not repeatedly say the same (or similar) things over and over. You may not say nonsense things or say lines really fast to force peoples windows to scroll faster than they can read them. You may not continuously change your name, connect/disconnect, set away/back, or join/part.
4. Capital Letters
   Only use capital letters where it is proper for punctuation. Do not use an excess of capital letters, as it is considered shouting, and is rude.
5. Scripts
   You may use scripts so long as an admin has approved them.
6. Notices
   You may not use channel notices while on our IRC server. They can only be used by the admins and moderators.
7. Advertising
   You may not advertise any product or service, while in our chatroom.
8. Unwholesome Subjects
   You may talk about what ever you wish unless the Administrators or Moderators agree it is not a wholesome subject.
9. Relation to Naval Domination
   You may not reveal details about other players of Naval Domination unless you have consent from the player.
10. Clones
    Clones of the same user are not permitted in our channels.
11. Impostering
    Do not use a nickname from someone else to chat with. Similar chat nicknames are not allowed either.
